The Goodman GSX160481 is a high-efficiency condenser for a split system air conditioner. This outdoor component needs to be connected with an indoor air handler or evaporator coil to create a complete air conditioning system. This allows for many options for personalizing an HVAC system, which can be altered depending on desired energy-efficiency, cost, installation type and number of cooling zones.

This model is capable of an impressive 16 SEER efficiency when paired with the correct components. Specific cooling ratings will depend in the indoor air handler or furnace used. This Goodman condenser features a 4 ton cooling capacity at 45,500 BTU. It's usually recommended that the tonnage of the outdoor condenser be less than the indoor unit.

The GSX16 line of split system air conditioners uses a high-efficiency compressor. This Goodman condenser is reliably constructed and protected by a steel louver coil guard with an attractive architectural gray powder-paint finish that has a 500-hour salt spray approval. The Goodman GMVC81005CN is a variable-speed gas furnace with ComfortNet compatibility. It uses a powerful, aluminized-steel dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger. It is housed in a fully-insulated heavy-gauge steel cabinet with a durable baked-enamel finish. A variable-speed ECM circulator motor operates gently and quietly to adjust to temperature demands.

This Goodman gas furnace is a two-stage, variable-speed, multi-position heater. It's compatible with both two-stage and single-stage thermostats. It uses a durable Silicon Nitride igniter to maintain a comfortable temperature in the home. It has a heating capacity input in high mode of 100,000 BTU and output of 80,000 BTU. In low mode, this unit has a heating capacity input of 70,000 BTU and an output of 56,000 BTU.

This heater comes from the GMVC8 line of Goodman gas furnaces. This collection of Goodman gas furnaces has up to 80% AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating. Many standard furnaces feature 60% AFUE, which means that this system can contribute to significant energy savings.

This multi-position Goodman gas heater offers many installation options. It can be installed in upflow or horizontal positions. This model features a low constant fan speed to keep air circulating throughout the home and has a self-diagnosing control board.

Description

A specially formulated super-hydrophobic (water repelling) product in a convenient aerosol package for field service. The non-conductive formula has numerous applications in the management of water on non-food, non-potable water surfaces for the HVAC/R trade; surfaces that are not exposed to ongoing abrasion (hand and foot traffic).

Directions

This product must be used in accordance to the following directions by HVACR professionals only.

1. Disconnect all power to the equipment before use. Do not spray near sparks, heat or open flame. Discontinue the use of power tools during use. Do not smoke while applying product.
2. Shake well before use. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Keep area ventilated until fumes are gone. Avoid breathing of fumes during application.
3. Ensure surface is clean and mostly to fully dry before applying. After a coil cleaning, the surface needs to be blown dry with an inert gas to remove excess moisture from the surface before applying Nu-Shield.
4. From a distance of 6-12 inches, spray a light coat on the surface, but no more beyond it being visibly wet. In other words, ‘Wet It and Forget It’. Contents in the canister will cover approximately 100 square feet. Depending on ambient conditions, allow a minimum of 20 minutes for Nu-Shield to dry on surface. Ensure surface appears visually dry and fumes are gone from the area before turning on power to equipment.

Note: Product needs to be applied after each coil cleaning. For best results, especially in corrosive environments, the product should be reapplied annually.
